When friends say “Photoshop me,” I respond.

While shopping at the local supermarket today, I decided I should try white strips for my teef. Bof of dem. I put said white strips on the conveyer at the checkout line directly behind 5 pairs of heavy duty rubber gloves. I won’t get into why I’m purchasing rubber gloves. What I can tell you is that it involves removing dead rats from rat traps. While the nice cashier lady is running my items past the laser thing, rubber gloves in hand, she says, “Do those work?” Confused as to why she was asking me why rubber gloves work, I replied by saying, “Well, the only reason I’m buying them is because we have a bit of a rat problem in our house and we need to remove dead rats from the traps.” Looking quite perplexed, she continued adding my items to the bags and said, “Well I hope that you get that worked out.” I paid for my lot and headed out. Not until I was almost home did it occur to me that she was probably talking about the white strips and asking me if THOSE worked. NOT the rubber gloves. I reckon she thinks I’m a wack job.

On another humorous note, I overheard the following statement on the intercom at the supermarket: “Customer service needed at the customer service desk.”
Yeah. I don’t know either.

I’ll let you know how the white strips work for cleaning out rat traps.
