This is a conversation I had via IM with my boss before leaving work today:

Me: is it ok if i spend a couple hours this weekend translating those cms wireframes? i didn’t have a lot to do today
Boss: yeah - sure
Me: thanks
Me: and by a couple i mean 12
Boss: 12 hrs?
Me: i is in ur budget. stealin’ your timez.
Boss: LOL
Boss: i is ur boz and can fir uz
Boss: invisible workload!

Tremendous.

This morning I stopped at McDonald’s, which I rarely ever do, for breakfast. I enjoy the occasional sausage McMuffin. I pull up to the drive-thru and the situation plays out a bit like this:

McDonald’s: “Welcome to McDonald’s. Can I take your order?”
Me: “Yeah, I’d like a #2 with no cheese with coffee and an orange juice.”
McDonald’s: “How many cream and sugar?”
Me: “2 creamers and 1 sugar please.”
McDonald’s: “$5.43. Please pull to the first window.”

The process was quite quick - as it should be. Upon getting to work and inspecting my order, I chuckled at what I found in the bag, aside from my sandwich and hash brown.

4 creamers and 7 packs of sugar.
